Hey everyone welcomes to drawing book review today. I want to share with you one of my favorite books when it comes to learning. How to draw this is keys to drawing by Bert Dawson this is a book that I always recommend to beginners who want to learn how to draw. So, if you are someone with things you cannot draw this book is going to prove. You wrong now this is a very useful book that has been reprinted several times. This copy that I have this is the 30th anniversary edition and if you notice this book is in pristine condition. That's because I always have an extra copy around with me to give of my friends who wanna learn cool drawing idea.
Now this book has 222 pages. This is in paperback format. It filled with lots of cartoon drawing exercises instruction and drawing ideas simple. They are very accessible for example this first lesson it has step-by-step pictures to show you. How to draw your shoes weave shoelace. This is a rather complicated sketch but I mean we have step-by-step instructions like this. This is very easy to follow and the instructions are written here. You can see that there is quite a bit of text there is good balance of text, pictures and drawings. This is one of the earliest books that got me into drawing and I learned a lot from this book.
Drawing ideas
It teaches the basic fundamentals of drawing from observation and also gives you those very basic drawing ideas beginners. How to deal with shadows and shapes. How to get a proportion right you can see that there are a lot of beautiful sketches. Each chapter has several exercises that you have to go through and this is actually a checklist to make sure that you have gone through the exercises. It looks at the hand writings of different artists and how those handwriting contribute to adding character to their drawings. You can also see different styles of art here from the different artists.
Drawing ideas beginners
This book is really Rifton money and there is a lot of insight in the tax as well. It's not just instructions there are lot of insight. So, this chapter is on measuring on getting a proportion right the exercises are really easy to fool along. I don't think anyone will have any problems following because the instructions are very clear and concise and they are actually quite short very brief exercises that teach the fundamentals very well. So, this book is just in black and white most of the drawings are actually drawn with pen ink and pencil sketch drawing.Drawing ideas that are easy
You can see some of the sketches. They are very sketchy very loose so you don't have to really replicate and copy exactly what is drawn. Because everybody will draw in their own style. The goal of this book is to impart crucial drawing ideas that are easy. I've actually gone through this book several times and this is a book that I keep coming back to because the drawings sketches, they are quite inspiring. I'll enjoy looking at these drawings and there are some beautiful examples of ink washes. You can find this book on Amazon and Book Depository.

That is good for those who want to learn drawing with a more structured approach. It covers the basics very well and exercises.
